Yesterday Colt had his first arcade experience at Chuck E. Cheese's! We met one of his classmates, Cora, and her baby sister up there. Colt and Cora had a blast while the babies slept in their strollers. It was a lot of fun and my first outing with both boys alone! Colt's favorite activity was the slide, but he was afraid to climb up there by himself, so I struggled to climb up (worrying we might exceed the weight limit and have it crash down!), but we all had fun! Cora's mom stayed below and supervised the babes! Colt even won some tickets with the basketball hoops and we got him and Cora some treats on the way out. What a fun and different outing for a blazing hot August day in Houston!
(And, note the
binkies! Both of these little ones (who happen to share a birthday!) have really
reverted on the requirement of needing a
binky with the babies around. Oh, well! In my opinion, you just have to pick those battles and this isn't one worth fighting right now!)
