Egg'd Out!

So, I am a little Egg Hunted out - we have now attended four egg hunts and Colt had his fifth one today at school. PHEW! With all this practice, Colt definitely understands "get eggs" and has discovered candy is inside the eggs, which has caused more than a couple tantrums. He would like to eat 10 pieces of candy and my limiting it has been a battle of wills! We really have had fun, though! Last year Colt was just barely crawling on Easter (actually he first crawled Palm Sunday) - it is is AMAZING the difference a year makes!

(Pics at these hunts are rather challenging b/c of the fast pace and aggressive parents - yes, you would think some of the parents were more interested in the candy inside the eggs than the kiddos!)

And here we are at our church's egg celebration. Colt LOVED coloring with the markers (and looked like a little warrior afterwards since he covered his face and ears with markers!) Here he is - all smiles!We also had a surprise egg hunt at the library storytime yesterday, but no pics from that event since the librarian SURPRISED the kiddos with the hunt!
