Ears!

Colty and his poor ears....This little guy has been battling infections for SO long and has been on antibiotics for sinus infections all winter season. As the pediatrician told me this Saturday when we were in seeing her again...antibiotics can't change his "plumbing" - structurally he is just predisposed to getting these sinus infections. She also told me is left ear tube is out, but no infection YET. Although, this sent me into a bit of a panic, given Colt's history. Well, we have now had him back on antibiotic for 4 days and he woke up this morning holding his left ear and telling me how much it hurt (which is the ear the tube is out of). I am SO thankful he can verbalize to me now when something hurts, but it makes me SO sad. I just want to fix it for him. His ENT is on vacation this week, so they fit us in with another doctor in his office this afternoon...so we will see what he has to say. We will keep you posted...poor little guy!
