17 Weeks and Starting to Hear!

At 17 weeks the baby begins to hear! I find this amazing! Kevin has been asking me if he can read to the baby for weeks now. So, I guess now he can (and the baby may actually hear him)! It actually is really supposed to make a difference! This week the baby is 5 inches long, his bones are beginning to develop from soft cartilage, and his umbilical cord is thickening. The development is just fascinating to me!
