Thanksgiving Week!

We have had such a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving week, although the past two days I can tell Colt is getting antsy and keeps asking if he has school yet.  He misses his structure and friends when without them for too long!  I have tried to keep the boys busy with outings and thankfully the beautiful weather has made it possible!  Here are some of the fun things we have been up to!

An outing to the zoo with some of our friends in from NYC!  It was Cade's first carousel ride and he loved it!  He wasn't scared at all!
And Colt...who has become a pro at these things! ;)
Riding "Baby Jaguar"...well really a cheetah, but we can pretend!  Colt requested the picture.  (Baby Jaguar is Diego's pet friend....hence the importance!)
At the annual HEB Thanksgiving Parade!  Waiting in the stroller...it was CROWDED and the boys were getting antsy!
Finally a float!  The trademark HEB Turkey Float!
Getting on daddy's shoulders for a better look!
Then decorating the tree...which Colt just ADORED this year.  It was so fun for Kevin and me to see the two of these little ones get SO excited to be our little helpers!!  It was as good as Christmas to see Colt opening all the "new" ornaments!

We have done a lot of other fun things, but these are some of the moments I captured!  Our Thanksgiving meal was quiet because our friends who were supposed to join us had to cancel because their son was extremely ill and running a high fever! :(  I still cooked a turkey, which Colt thought was AWESOME and the boys had a lot of fun and were super well behaved for the meal.  In a way it was nice to have it low-key and casual this year.  We also went to the Galleria lighting Thanksgiving night, multiple trips to the park, have had our neighbor friend Theresa over to play several times, and did a trip to the inside playland, WonderWild.  Daddy also took a couple days off, which we have all LOVED!  It is so fun to spend some time with him!  So, it has been a good week!  Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  We are so excited to start into this special holiday season...the best time of the year! :)
