Well, not really sitting and standing, but mom already has Colt practicing!! We start off on tummy time and I put my hands behind Colt's feet and let him push off. He scoots along the blanket. Mom did research on all this developmental play while dad was at work for 27 hours straight this weekend. Maybe mom has just a bit too much time on her hands! :)

After Colt gets tired of tummy time, he rolls over.....

When dad got home, mom showed him how to help Colt practice sitting up. They had so much fun. Colt only did one nose-dive into the blanket, but it didn't even phase him!

Then dad helped Colt
practice standing. Colt loves putting weight on his legs, bouncing around, and squealing at the TOP OF HIS LUNGS!! Man, our boy has NO problems with his vocal chords. He definitely loves experimenting with the
octaves of his voice!!

After all that hard work, Colt took his first shoulder ride on dad from the family room to the kitchen....

...where he happily played in his bouncer! Colt just loves this toy!! Thanks again, Grandma Susan!
