Rice Cereal!!

So, I couldn't wait until Christmas! We saw the pediatrician Friday and she gave us the strict instructions for starting Colt on solids with the food allergies. So, we dove in Saturday night. Kevin even snuck home from work for an hour to be there to help me out! It was SO fun! I just cannot believe how much my sweet baby is growing and changing!!

While we were waiting for daddy to come home we had some tummy time.

Then when Kevin came home, Colt showed dad how he can sit up unassisted now!!! Yay, Colt!!

Dad then looked in the mirror with Colt. I love how Colt is looking at me taking the picture in the mirror! Next came the BIG meal!! SO exciting!!! Here we are preparing - doesn't Colt look excited?! He really was SO ready for solids! I am really glad we waited until 6 months. Colt seems happy in his highchair, doesn't he?

Mommy gave Colt the first bite!


Colt took to it great and almost gobbled up the WHOLE tablespoon of cereal! :)

After Colt's belly was full, daddy read him his new Christmas story his Grandmommy sent him. It makes Christmas sounds when you turn each page! And, Colt is all snuggled up in his Christmas sleeper from Grandma Susan. What a loved little guy!! Now, if we can just get our little guy to sleep....but that's a hurdle for another day! :)
